| The Rotary Garden gives you a tool to successfully garden in many different environments. However, successful gardening also depends on a number of other factors that you must control, such as providing the right amount of light, warmth, water and nutrients that each plant needs. Follow the care instructions on the seed packet or plant, and consult your local nursery or a gardening book for your climate area if you need additional help getting started. If gardening indoors for an extended period of time, an investment in a grow light will help your indoor light-loving plants to thrive. | |||||||||||||||||
| When choosing the types of plants to grow in your Rotary Garden, the best plants are those that do not grow more than 12” high and do not have deep soil requirements, unless you are planning to transplant them to another garden at a later date. For tomatoes, choose “bush” or “determinate” varieties. With a little research, you can find variants of many vegetables that will grow successfully in pots or confined spaces. We recommend using Scotts Miracle-Gro® or Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control potting mix. | |||||||||||||||||
